The energy efficiency of replacement windows and doors are measured as an Energy Rating. The higher the number that you will see following the words Energy A Rated means the more efficient the heat retention and insulation of that product will be. Our Eco Energy Plus Range of UPVC Windows and Doors fitted with the 36mm Triple Glazed option, achieves an incredible Energy A Rating of A+16 (this can also be upgraded to A+20 by changing the external pane of glass from clear float glass to low iron glass) For cost reasons and the fact that the UK climate is fairly moderate, the majority of our local installations are installed with customers choosing Windows and Doors fitted with 28mm Double Glazed Units achieving an Energy A Rating of either A+7 or for a small price uplift A+14
