Unlike simple “capping” methods, our specification generally includes the complete removal and clearance of the original existing timber fascias and soffits. Our thorough installation process includes:
- Structural Integrity: We introduce new additional treated timber soffit bearers to all exposed rafter feet, providing a solid foundation for your new roofline.
- Weather Protection: The introduction of new heavy-gauge felt drip membranes, neatly dressed under original roofing felts, over the top edge of the new uPVC fascia boards, and down into the new rainwater guttering system.
- Ventilation Control: Systems are available with or without continuous trickle ventilation or independent circular vents to ensure healthy airflow within your roof space.
- Rainwater Management: New downpipes are expertly positioned to suit your original house drain locations for efficient water dispersal.
